Hey All,
We have been receiving many visitors to our ISS Blog since its inception not long ago. In fact we just past the 500 unique visitors mark! Will there be 1000?
The more comments and questions we get, the better and more useful the ISS Blog will become. We will try to answer all the questions as best as we could.
And we also though that everyone might be interested in "seeing" where all these visitors are from so we prepared a map.

Anyway, may I know, what is the earliest date that we can move in to the temporary housing for orientation?

Hi Min,
Temporary orientation housing begins on Monday, August 11. However, if you need to arrive earlier, please contact me (Rachel) at reh25@psu.edu and we can discuss what options are available.

Thanks for the question. You're right, the temporary orientation housing is only available for students and spouses. If your family is accompanying you, they'll need to find accomodations off campus. There are many local hotels within walking distance of the University, but the closest two are:
